What Is Pressure Cleaning?
Pressure cleaning (also called pressure washing) uses a high-powered water jet to physically strip away built-up dirt, mould, algae, oil stains, chewing gum and loose paint from hard surfaces. Depending on the surface, we use one of two methods:
- High-pressure washing (1,500–4,000 PSI): for concrete driveways, paved paths, brick and other hard, durable surfaces.
- Soft washing (low pressure + eco-safe cleaning solution): for delicate surfaces like painted weatherboard, colorbond roofing, rendered walls and ageing brickwork, where high pressure could cause damage.
Choosing the right method for the right surface is the difference between a clean that lasts and a clean that damages your property — this is where an experienced operator matters more than the machine itself.
Our Working Process
Inspection
We assess the surface type, level of build-up and any risk areas (cracked render, old paint, garden beds) before starting.
Pre-treatment
For heavy mould or algae, we apply a treatment solution to break down organic growth at the root.
Pressure or soft wash
Surface-appropriate cleaning using calibrated pressure and the correct nozzle/technique.
Rinse and inspect
A final rinse and walk-through so you can see the result before we finish up.
Why It Matters in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich & North Lakes
Subtropical humidity and heavy seasonal rain mean mould, algae and lichen regrow faster here than in drier climates — most homes in this region benefit from a professional clean every 6–12 months to stay ahead of build-up, protect resale value and avoid slippery, hazardous surfaces.
